Nice, short tour video of J-Town. The taikyaki stand is a part of May's Coffee Shop, which has good curry and other lunch items IMO. The SF Kinokuniya carries English manga alongside untranslated manga and magazines in the lower level that they expanded into a year or so again, which helped to alleviate the cramped feeling the main store before the change.
Also: I would like to recommend that any first-time visitors stop by Ichiban Kan in Miyako Mall (across the Peace Plaza) for cheap dry foods (ramen, etc.) and other miscellaneous stuff as well as Nijiya Market, a grocery store that is just off the plaza downhill on Post St., if you are planning to browse a wider selection of food.
