Dragon Ball #10 - The Twenty-Second Tenkaichi Budoukai

is a manga book published by Viz Media that was released on 11/10/1987

Plot Summary

Goku needs just one more Dragon Ball to wish Upa's father back to life...but the Ball is in the hands of an old enemy! Then, Goku and his friends part ways, promising to meet again in three years at the Tenka'ichi Budôkai, the "Strongest-Under-the-Heavens" Martial Arts Tournament. But this time the competition is stronger than ever: Tenshinhan and Chaozu, the deadly disciples of Tsuru-Sen'nin, the Crane Hermit! Will Kame-Sen'nin's turtle-style kung fu beat crane style? Or will their strange new opponents be triumphant?

Goku succeeds in stealing the last remaining dragonball from Pilaf the Great and safely brings Bora back to life. Vowing to reunite with all of his allies at the Tenkaichi Budoukai, which will be held again in three years, Goku sets out. Then, three years later at the 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai, some unforeseen strong opponents appear. They are Tsuru-sennin's pupils, Tenshinhan and Chaozu. In Match #1 Tenshinhan has an easy victory against Yamcha. Krillin vs. Chaozu followed. The move Chaozu unleashed was a Dodonpa of all things.
