I think I was really able to relate to Haruhi Suzumiya a lot and that's why I quickly fell in love with this series. Her desperate need to find something different something original something....exciting is most definitely something I can empathize with. Living in my small town surrounded by the same type of people day in and day out I'm constantly looking for something out of the ordinary to indulge myself in. Her eccentric behavior and they way she has no fear to express her opinions or beliefs is greatly refreshing. This whole anime itself is funny and unpredictable gives it something great altogether but you add the eccentric girl trying to find something that stands out it definitely makes one of my favorites.
