The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Forum

Just caught these cuties on GA Graphic-- I'm actually not very into how they made Yuki look here, unfortunately, but the Haruhi (complete with Disappearance version) and Mikuru, both flailing wildly, are absolutely adorable. They're  ¥735 (about $8 USD) each, in open boxes. (They may be cheaper as closed-box trading figures.) The Haruhi ladies are part of Bandai's "R-Style" line of deformed figures, and they look a bit different than the usual Haruhi figures-- they're not quite Melancholy of Haruhi-chan style, but they're much more rounded than even the usual SD Haruhis I see. Still though, I'm disappointed that Yuki looks so blah. Her glasses look more like goggles, even. Hmm.


 By the way, something I've been meaning to get on the site for a couple of days now: ANN spotted a copy of The Day of Sagittarius III for the iPhone, the game featured in episode 13 of the first season of The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, which the SOS Brigade plays against the computer club for dominance, or money, or something. The game is available in the app store in English thanks to Kadokawa Shoten, and you can pick it up for a mere $1.99

@HeeroYuy: Really? It always reminded me vaguely of a Mac game that a bunch of classmates and I played when we were in middle school, but I dunno what the name of it was...

Mikuru's makes her look like she's being chased after by some serial killer. Yuki's expression does feel off.
