The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Forum

So, now that a brand-spanki'n-new episode of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is due to air on May 21st, word on 2ch is that hardcore Haruhi fans are booking up hotel rooms in Saitama like crazy for that particular day.

Why, you ask? Well...TV Saitama is the station that airs Haruhi first (the reason why my original report said May 24th is that the channel whose episode list was the source airs it a few days later). So if you want to be among the first to catch Haruhi, instead of having to wait for your local airing, well, Saitama's where you need to be.

And you thought I was a crazy Harutard. I wonder if anyone is actually flying in from outside Japan to catch the episode? I bet there's at least one nutball who's going for it. (Is it you? CONFESS! <3)

I spotted that and thought everyone would get a kick out of it and maybe I would be that devoted if I could afford international airfare on a whim.

If I had more money than I knew what to do with, I definitely would have been on a plane. :)
