Is Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody the bit where Kyon meets middle school Haruhi? Its been a while since I read the books.

yes Bamboo leaf rhapsody is the story of Kyon pulled into the past by mikuru, and its explains the Quad Squibles incident.I am very happy and excited for this new episode releasal, that the exclusion I can only assume is because they did not want to reveal older Mikuru more then her big moment in melancholy.

It'll be interesting to see what details make it into the show as this story is the linchpin apon whitch the whole book series turns from Haruhi's first conversation with Kyon to the time split in the latest book.

And is it just my faulty memory or has the comments in the sorce code of the fake 404 page on sosbrigade.com changed slightly?
