I'm currently on episode 6 (chronologically) and i'm loving it, it's fantastic so far. But my question is: am i not experiencing the show as i should by watching it like that? Should i stop watching it and start again in the broadcast order? or should i just finish the chronological and then re-watch it in broadcast order?

What do you think?

Broadcast order is much better than chronological. Definitely.

I watched it chronologically first and loved it.

I watched it broadcasted and loved it too.

I'm not sure if most of you are aware of this, but they didn't broadcast them out of order to be deep or anything. The plain fact is that there were only 6 episodes with a continuous plot with 8 miscellaneous episodes, so they re-arranged them so that the climax could be at the end. I think people are taking this whole "OMG BRAODCAST ORDER IS TEH AWESOME" thing out of proportion because they simply did it for balancing reasons.

Also, unless you're planning on watching them again and again, I don't find the broadcast method as effective in picking up small bits and pieces referring to a chronologically previous episode. Overall though, I liked watching them chronologically better because the pieces seem to fit.

I've watched the series:
6 times chronologically
3 times broadcasted
2 times reverse (for fun)

Still not getting tired of it though... hmm...

I started out watching it in broadcast order. I loved it though it was confusing (but I think that's the charm of watching it in broadcast order, it seems more mysterious this way).

In chronological order, it makes perfect sense though it seems like all the filler episodes and not-as-awesome stuff happens at the end of the series (especially starting from episode 6 or 7; the series loses some of its awesomeness here).

I do agree with hazelnutman though. If you want to watch it again and again, then you watch it chronologically to pick up stuff you didn't pick up fro watching it broadcast order.

I've also watched is several times with different people I introduced this anime to:
3 times chronologically
5 times broadcast
1 time with whichever dvd popped out from the LE box first. (I just pulled the ribbon out and watched the order the dvd boxes came out in).

The plot lasts more in broadcast, sure, but I think chronological order caters much more to character development. Noticing sides of people you wouldn't seeing as how things are out of order.

Broadcast order is the best way to go by far.

So it wouldn't be cool if you watched in in Chronological order?

Well i have the limited edition dvds that hd both chronological and broadcast order. If you just have files, which i'd assume would be broadcast order, just look up the order online. Wikipedia will probably have it.

I don't really see a difference, i watched it in chronological order first and then in broadcast order and enjoyed it both times.

yeah, but knowing the story already changes how you perceive it. You can enjoy it both ways, but with Broadcast order it's better, as there is more of a mysterious allure to it
