The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya III
Yuki finishes her explanation of her existence and Haruhi's power. Haruhi drags a new member into the SOS Brigade: "mysterious" transfer student Itsuki Koizumi.
The SOS Brigade spends a weekend day seeking out paranormal phenomena. They partner up by drawing straws; Kyon is partnered with Mikuru, to Haruhi's annoyance. Mikuru explains to Kyon that she is a time traveler, and that Haruhi is at the center of a strange paradox. The group re-gathers and re-splits up, this time with Kyon partnered with Yuki. They pass the time in the library, where Kyon falls asleep.
Later, Kyon confronts Koizumi and demands to know what strange being he is. Koizumi explains that he' s an Esper and tells Kyon about the existence of the Agency.
