• The new opening theme is updated in this episode showing off the changed member of the Straw Hat Pirates in battle.
• Franky's time skip alterations are finally revealed clearly in this episode. The BF-37 on his shoulders stands for Battle Franky 37. This means he is considered the thirty-seventh model of the Battle Franky machines he's created.
• This episode, the Fake Robin's real name of Cocoa is finally revealed.
• The Fake Chopper and Fake Robin are only seen in this episode in flashback and have no spoken lines.
