Never got into Avatar, but it's nice to see something for the fans after the disaster that was the live action film.

There are parts of that where it looks pretty insane as far as animation goes. Was this always the art style of the series or is this one different?

Awesome, just awesome. I totally just had a nerdgasm. And it was awesome. 

I'm particularly impressed by her ride. It was a dog... crossed with a polar bear. That's just awesome.  Her firebending armor was pretty sweet too, and that statue of Aang was sweet.
 
I can't freaking wait for this show. 
 
Oh, and it was nice to year that music again.

I never got into the first Avatar, but this looks pretty badass, the animation alone is beautiful and smooth. I'd watch this just for the animation alone.
