The Landscape of the End

The Landscape of the End is an anime episode of Monster that was released on 09/20/2005
The episode begins with a man seeing the people are killed and thinks that the devil is responsible.

Meanwhile, Tenma and Bonaparta find Wim looking for his father. Just then, they see Johan and Tenma points a gun at him. However, Bonaparta knocks him out and plans to kill both Johan and himself, but a gunshot is heard.

It is revealed that he is shot by Roberto, who dies from his wounds. He asks Johan to let him see the Landscape of the End, but Johan tells that him that he can't see it. Tenma orders Wim to run away. Johan says that to Tenma, lives are equal and that's why he lived today. He claims that the only thing people are equal in is death. Johan points at his forehead to get Tenma to shoot him there.

Just then, Nina arrives to tell Johan that she forgives him, but Johan doesn't care about life anymore and orders Tenma to kill him by threatening Wim. Just then, Johan is shot in the head and Tenma is surprised. It is revealed that Wim's father did it.

Just then, Runge is carried to tell about Roberto. In the helicopter, he sees Johan for the first time and asks if he's alive, but the rescue team tells that he's going to die if he doesn't get rescued by a brain surgeon. Runge knows who can save him and orders the team to bring that person: Dr. Tenma.

Because of Wim's father is going to jail for trying to murder Johan, Tenma comforts him, reassuring that his father will be safe as he leaves to save Johan. In the hospital, Tenma is ready to save Johan's life.
