The King of Paradise

The King of Paradise is an anime episode of Un-Go that was released on
The truth behind the previous episode is revealed: The Novelist used a mysterious girl named Bettenou (or perhaps the other way around) to write a story where Yuuki Shinjurou is The Last Great Detective, and tried to shoehorn in new parts for Izumi and Rie when they got too close.

However, Inga and Kazamori manage to infiltrate the prison and get Yuuki back to his senses, where it turns out he's been in prison the entire time: even the supposed "actresses" were all just female criminals. However, the dead director from before is a now a dead guard in real life, and Yuuki must still solve this case.

After looking through recordings and the RFID chip info of the prisoners, Yuuki comes to the conclusion that the guard was trying to make a deal with one of the female prisoners to help her escape by lending her his own RFID to mask hers. However, the girl didn't like his advances and crushed him underneath a blast door. She later admits to being a homegrown terrorist due to wanting to make a quick end to the war, but got caught before she could carry out any plans.

Back in the prison, Inga confronts the Novelist who tells her he wanted to create his perfect story with Yuuki as the hero. Not too far away, Rinroku finds himself threatened by policeman Hayami.
