The Guyver franchise tells the story of Sho Fukamachi , a normal high school student who stumbles upon an alien artifact called the Guyver unit. The unit accidentally activates and transforms Sho into a being known as the Guyver.
Presently the manga has been running since 1985. There have so far have been, a 12 episode anime OVA that ran from 1989 to 1992, a 26 episode updated anime that ran in 2005. There is also 1 animated and 2 live action feature films.
