The Gundam Deathscythe

The Gundam Deathscythe is an anime episode of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing that was released on 04/14/1995

The episode starts with Heero fencing another student at the Saint Gabriel Institute. The other student questions Heero as to why ripped up the invitation to Relena's birthday party, but Heero quickly wins the duel without answering. He then goes on to hack the school's computers and clear a boarding check into the local Marina, all in preparation to steal some deep water torpedoes.

Meanwhile, Alliance and OZ forces search for the Wing Gundam in the Pacific Ocean. Zechs Merquise is also in the area searching for it in a new OZ submarine, and both the Alliance naval fleet commander and Zechs send out their amphibious mobile suits to search for it. It is about then that Duo Maxwell, pilot of the Gundam Deathscythe, makes his appearance and destroys several of the Alliances' Cancer and Pisces suits. Zechs warns his own men of what is going on, but right as they find the sunken Wing Gundam, Duo destroys them all and then decides to take the Wing Gundam with him.

Back in Japan, one of Relena's classmates notices Heero driving an ambulance towards the Marina, and after telling Relena at her birthday party, Relena runs off after him.

All while that is going on, Quatre is shown enjoying the view in the Middle East at an oasis, Trowa joins a circus, and Wufei restocks the ammunition and firepower for his Gundam from a local militia.

At the Marina weapon's warehouse, troops panic from a set of explosions caused by Heero as a diversion so he could steal and launch the torpedoes to destroy his Gundam. Relena eventually finds Heero standing atop a submarine preparing to fire the torpedoes, but Heero pulls a gun on her and prepares to fire. Before he can pull the trigger though, Duo shows up and shoots Heero in the arm. Relena then rips off a part of her skirt to make a dressing for the wound on Heero's arm, and yells at Duo for shooting him. Duo, confused at her clearly irrational behavior, tells them both to get out of here as he uses a flare to obstruct the view of the Gundams rising from the water in the distance. Heero, realizing what is going on, jumps onto the torpedoes, fires them at the Gundams, and then falls into the water unconscious. The torpedoes hit their target, but they were apparently much too weak to significantly damage the Gundams as it simply causes them to sink underwater in the port instead.

It is at this moment that Duo concludes that Heero must be the pilot of the other Gundam, and the episode ends.
