Hidden in a Fuyuki hotel, Kiritsugu tries plan his next move, but is
still at a loss trying to understand Kirei's motives. Elsewhere, Iry
and Saber have moved to a new hideout, a traditional Japanese manor.
But while Iry seems excited about their new location, Saber senses
something is amiss.
Tokiomi asks how Kirei rate Rider's Noble Phantasm, and Kirei states that it is about equal to Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon. Meanwhile, Kiritsugu calls Maiya to give him an update, and Maiya explains that every assassin has been killed. Kiritsugu goes over the map and surveillance footage of Tokiomi and Kariya. Due to Berserker, he will leave Archer and Berserker alone since they do keep each other in check. For Kayneth, he has to find his location and Caster's as well. In Rider's case, he notes how Rider's Noble Phantasm is powerful. He wonders about Kirei and why he attacked Iris and Maiya in the forest.
At the church, Kirei finds Gilgamesh playing with the chess pieces. Kirei states that he is relieved of a heavy duty and that unused Command Seals go to the mediator. Masters who seek asylum in the Church have the opportunity to fight again. Kirei states that there is no need for him. Meanwhile, Saber takes Iris for another joyride. They arrive to a place that comprises of abandoned Japanese homes with Maiya. This will serve as their new home base. Iris is happy, but all of this open space will dissipate mana. Saber leads her to a storehouse where it fits Iris's preferences. She asks Iris if she has been deliberately not touch anything at all. Iris demonstrates by squeezing Saber's hand, and Saber notices that Iris is getting weaker. Iris explains that she cannot bend her fingers and that she has to shut down her sense of touch. She asks Saber that she will assist her in driving and casting spells.
Gilgamesh explains what pleasure is to Kirei
Over at the church, Kirei realizes that Saber's master is nothing but a mercenary. Gilgamesh tells Kirei that his soul indistinctly pursues pleasure. He finds Kirei narrowing down Bliss and condemning it. Kirei gets angry at Gilgamesh for his questions and comments. Suddenly, Kirei gets a Command Seal on his hand. He wonders why, and Gilgamesh states that Kirei has a wish buried deep into his heart. Kirei states that he would have to crush the six wishes including his teacher. Gilgamesh holds up an archer piece and tells Kirei that he has to find a servant to seek out his desires. That will produce joy and entertainment.
