The First Match! One Lap of the Dounts Race

Though the dialog mentions that no person can compete in the games more then once. Each character competes in the race. This is a dramatic alteration of the manga events. Originally; only Robin, Nami, and Usopp competed in the race. They were only against Porche, Kapoty, and Monda. All others were not in the manga.

In the manga it was Robin who selected the crew for each competition when there was no agreement.

The third competition that is named was not even in the manga. This is filler and not canon to the manga. The third competition was suppose to be a battle between captains.

When the race started, in the manga version, the people in the crowd started firing cannons at Nami, Usopp, and Robin. It was the remainders of the Straw Hat crew on shore that fight back. Interference from the crowd is allowed, but this was altered for the anime. The anmie version had the giant boat behind them was filled with mines. A giant wave is created when Zoro sends the mines back from where they came.

The other non-canon Foxy boats work as distractions for Luffy, Sanji, Chopper, and Zoro. These events happened in the manga, but were on dry land.

Robin's attack on the Cutie Wagon is a canon event. Her comments to Usopp about using an Impact Dial was not. In the manga the use of an Impact Dial was Usopp's idea and how their craft rushed by the Cutie Wagon.
