Summary
"Holes" vol. 2 chapter 18
Hearing the recent news about some strange holes near a construction site, Hotori feels guilty. During lunch break, while talking to Futaba, and noticing how she's so enthusiastic about an event of this sort happening in the neighborhood, Hotori tells her the happening.
The night before she came across some alien gun, and a battle between aliens, resulting in the damages seen on the news. Futaba, any other day wouldn't believe a word said by Hotori, but she happens to have in her possession a alien object, amking her even more excited about it.
They head to the local and they restore everything as it was before.

Zenji is a ghost, capable of being seen by most animals, walking freely by the Maruko Shopping Distrcit during the last 10 years. When he died, the lift to heaven has been denied to him and now he spends his time attempting to talk to people and pets, visiting the temple, stores and even her wife, now widow.
