Louise is known as "Zero" because she has no success with magic. On the day that all 2nd year students at the Tristain Academy of Magic have to summon their familiar she finds success. She is surprised though to have summoned a commoner boy named Saito when she's a noble.
Overview
The Familiar of Zero is the first anime series of the Familiar of Zero franchise that is based on the light-novel series written by Noboru Yamaguchi and illustrated by Eiji Usatsuka. The series was directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki, and the music produced by Shinkichi Mitsumune. It's a shonen-romance series that is for a teen audience and some fanservice It is produced by the J.C.Staff and Media Factory, and has aired in Japan on various distributors, such as CTC. The first episode originally aired on July 2, 2006. The series ran for thirteen episodes, the last airing on September 24, 2006.
