One night, Mashiro's English school friend, Rita, turns up on the doorstep to flip everyone's world upside-down. Meanwhile, the gang finally meets the elusive occupant of Room 102: Akasaka Ryunosuke!
Miyahara: We're not gay!
Sorata wakes up to see Mashiro and Misaki painting his room with artwork from Mashiro's anime (Nyapollen), and Mashiro explains her overly complicated story to Sorata. In class, some of the students share some nasty gossip about Sorata and Nanami who are living together at Sakura Hall. Then, Miyahara yells out to stop everyone, and he states that Sorata is not an immoral guy. When the guys and girls ask Miyahara why is he blushing, they misunderstand Miyahara's flushed face and think he and Sorata are in a gay relationship. Back at Sakura Hall, Rita Ainsworth arrives to asks Mashiro to come back to England with her. Yet, Mashiro does not want to go back home when Rita states that a lot of people want to see her paintings. She kicks out Rita, and Sorata goes back to fetch Rita.
Rita - an English beauty
Moments later, Sorata waits in his room, and Rita comes by only wearing a bath towel. While Sorata urges Rita to put on some clothes, Rita says she was on Mashiro duty, and then, she notices that Mashiro had painted on his wall. Rita warns Sorata that Mashiro might abandoned him one day like how Mashiro did to her. Next morning, Sorata wakes up to see Rita hugging him tightly in bed, and both Nanami and Mashiro enter the room. While Nanami feels Sorata is a pervert, Mashiro finds Sorata an enemy once Rita claims that she will stay in Sorata's room until Mashiro comes back to England. Then, Akasaka arrives in all dressed up and read for school much to everyone's surprise.
Rita: You're not going to dump me?
In class, Akasaka's loud munching of tomatoes annoys his teacher, and Nanami writes a note to Sorata about Rita and what to do with her. At Sakura Hall, Mashiro keeps calling Sorata an idiot, and Sorata tries to fix things by texting to her at school. Later that night, Misaki hosts a meeting about the cultural festival, and Mashiro proposes that they use Nyanpollen from Misaki's anime. Later in Sorata's room, Mashiro asks Rita to sleep in her room, but Rita accepts Mashiro's terms on one condition. Rita wants to take Sorata on a date. Even though Rita takes Sorata to a hotel, she has some ulterior motives once she finds that Mashiro and Nanami followed them. It turns out that the hotel has Mashiro's paintings along with others. Sorata gets immersed in Mashiro's painting.
