Electricity is coming to the village and the generator will no longer be needed. The Fairies give the Mediator a warning about what will happen when the power comes back.
Mediator meets another weirdo
As Mediator prepares breakfast, the fairies wait for a chance to try out the cake. Then, a man calls her group to investigate a black monolith or metalboard that is placed in a crater. Grandpa dismisses it as a prank. In the village, the Grandpa introduces his granddaughter to the CLT director. The director reveals that they are starting up a project that involves many electrical appliances. He states that they are exploring the ruins near their village where they get their electricity from. Later, Grandpa debriefs the Mediator about the exploration team who are heading towards the ruins. Three days ago, the Mediator meets a fairy who she feels that she needed to paid the fairies extra attention. She meets a group of fairies who bid her farewell since they fear electromagnetic waves. The fairies are giving the Mediator a warning about the events, and they give her a manual and a good luck charm. Later that night, she reads the manual about the significance in the number of fairies and the number of deadly scenarios. During the Summer Electric Festival, Mediator spots everyone having a good time and a strange cat-like person, Pion. Pion notices Mediator who is analyzing her, and Mediator explains that she saw an unfamiliar face. Mediator explains her role in the village to Pion, and Pion states she is suffering from memory leakage. Pion tells her that she is looking for her companion, Oyage.
Pion grabs Friender
Arriving the ruins, Mediator and her assistant goes inside a white dome. The assistant presses a button, and the elevator starts moving. She finds a monolith with the name, Oyage, inscribed on it. She finds a skeleton nearby and that the elevator has gone up. They explore the ruin until they find a park to eat and relax a bit. The two find an entrance to the outside where they find themselves above the city. She answers a call from her grandpa and attempts to ask for help. Though, she cannot get help since grandpa cannot find her. Deep in the ruins, the Mediator and Assistant drink tea, and when the Mediator's good luck charm falls into the tea, the charm transforms into a fairy. It turns out that the fairy change into good luck charms to survive EM waves. When Mediator tells the fairy that they are looking for water, the fairy leads them to a water source. They arrive to a heap of appliances, and they find some slime blobs that attacks Mediator. She stabs the blob with her knife only to have her knife dissolved. When an army of slime blob appears, Mediator's group runs for their lives. They stumble upon an examination room where the Assistant tries to work the computer. With the power gone, the Mediator examines the outlet, but a black slime blob appears. She throws the monolith at the blog, and the blog starts to plug itself into the outlet. Then, a robot dog appears. Before it attacks, Pion grabs the dog and destroys it. She thanks Mediator for providing electricity.
