Points of Interest

  • These events reportedly happen several years ago.
  • This is the story of Zoro's life as he became as a bounty hunter and met Yosaku and Johnny. They had not been seen since the crew left Nami's home village, Cocoyashi.
  • At the beginning this episode Zoro doesn't have his wadou ichimonji with him. He's using a traditional cane style sword. He had left it with a sword smith for sharpening.
  • Robin's book on the Rainbow Mist is shown again. Most of the crew is hardly even seen this episode.
  • In the Japanese version. The only members of the main cast that was credited for this episode was Luffy, Zoro, and Robin.
