Points of Interest

  • The scene of the sand tornado was not present in the original manga.
  • Ganju Shiba, Yoruichi Shihoin, and Mayuri Kurotsuch only appear in this episode in a flashback of the Soul Society arc. They have no spoken lines.
  • Gin Ichimaru's only speaking role in this episode is during the omake after the credits.

  • In the omake extra after the credits, Gin Ichimaru explains the detailed of the Hueco Mundo. Without any water, he wonders how they made the tea earlier in the episode. Kaname Tousen offers to explain, but he passes.
