Episode Summary

While in the restroom, Polnareff sees what he thinks is a Stand through the window, but when he goes to look it's gone. He looks again, and it's still there. Polnareff attacks with Silver Chariot, but the stand disappears. When Polnareff tells the rest of the group of this, Avdol advises caution, but gets chewed out by Polnareff.

Polnareff says he'll leave the group as J. Geils is nearby. Joseph and Avdol try to talk him into accepting their help, but he declines. Meanwhile, Hol Horse looks on from the shadows – satisfied that he's broken up Jotaro's band. Horse heads out to the desert and reports back to his master, J. Geils. Back in town, Kakoyin has gotten a vehicle and is ready to leave town. Avdol doesn't want to go quite yet, as he's worried about Polnareff. Joseph agrees, and they prepare to head out after their friend. However, they get stuck in traffic and are forced to split up on foot.

Polnareff and Hol Horse finally meet for the first time, and the two fight. Silver Chariot is completely unable to block Horse's attack with his Stand, Emperor, though Avdol is able to push Polnareff out of the way at the last second. As Avdol goes to attack Horse, he is stabbed in the back by Geils stand, the Hanged Man. This disrupts Avdol's stand, and Horse's attack is able to get through, killing him. Hol Horse departs, leaving Kakoyin and Polnareff to mourn Avdol's death.
