Coming to Japan/20th and 21st Choujin Olympics

The man known as Terryman initially came to Japan looking for profit. He was paid top dollar for his heroic services, which the Japanese government called "a small price to pay compared to being saved by Kinnikuman." Eventually, he was made the only Hero of Japan, making it legal for him to save the day anywhere he went. Driven by greed, he went too far and kicked a kid down for not having enough money to pay for Terryman saving his father from a monster. Suguru intervened and saved the boy's father for free after punching Terryman to the ground. Seeing this, Terryman changed his ways and never fought for money again, becoming best friends with Suguru and falling in love with the journalist Shouno Natsuko.

He was invited to fight in the 20th Choujin Olympics with Suguru and won his match against Skyman. Following Suguru's second round match with Ramenman, Terryman noticed Kinkotsuman with a rifle aimed at Suguru. Terryman managed to stop the villain, but at the cost of his leg. Terryman stooped to using dirty tactics in his match with Robin Mask, but he still lost when Robin put him in a Boston Crab and agitated Terryman's wound. He would get a prosthetic leg after the Olympics.

He appeared as Suguru's tag team partner in the American Tour arc against Skull-Boze and Devil Magician. Throughout the bloody match, he was stabbed several times in the forehead. It is interesting to note that after this match, the insignia on his forehead looks like an asterisk.

Terryman appeared again in the 21st Choujin Olympics and in the third preliminary round, he had to shove two bullet trains off their tracks. A rule to this was that the choujin had to touch the train only once. Terryman noticed a puppy sitting on the tracks of one of his trains and rushed to stop the train from crushing it. Because he touched a train twice, he was disqualified. He served mostly as a commentator from this point-on, but went back to manage Suguru as his second during the final fight with Warsman and Barracuda (secretly Robin Mask).

Devil Choujin Attack!/Terryman Tested

When the Seven Devil Choujin, led by Buffaloman, attacked the Choujin League and split Alexandria Meat's body into several pieces, Terryman fought in an injured Kinnikuman's place against Black Hole, but was soon found out and beaten up by all of the Devil Choujin. Suguru intervened and took Terryman's place, but Suguru was too injured to take on any more demon choujin outside of Black Hole for that time period. Terryman and the other justice choujin split up and took on their respective demon choujin, with Terryman fighting the monstrous Mountain who possessed Meat's hips.

Terryman was thrown around easily, seeing how his punches could not harm Mountain and Mountain's sheer weight made it almost impossible to lift. Terryman's boots began to break by their laces and Terryman took this as an omen that his friends were dying. The thread signifying Brocken Jr. was holding itself together by a single thread, telling him that there was still hope. He defeated Mountain using a Brain Buster suplex. He gave Kinnikuman the idea of giving Buffaloman too much power so that he would become distracted and susceptible to a Kinniku Buster.

Akuma Shogun and the Golden Mask

Ashura Buster!!
Ashura Buster!!
When the Golden Mask was seemingly stolen, Terryman went alongside Kinnikuman to try and find it. He fought Ashuraman inside of a comatose Warsman's body and had his arms stolen from him by the fiend. Ashuraman then began taking his sweet time making Terryman suffer, unleashing all manner of terrible attack on the Texas Bronco with malicious intent. He even used the loathsome Ashura Buster on the poor man, nearly breaking him in half with the painful impact. It wasn't until Buffaloman lent Terryman his arms and with them that Terryman began to return the favor of stealing arms back to Ashuraman, managing to literally tear a few of the monster's own six from their own stalks. Ashuraman became desperate and took the fight outside of the ring, settling for a draw rather than a loss.

Dream Tag Team!!

Terryman first entered the tournament alongside Geronimo, who he adopted as a student. They were a charismatic team and a favorite among the crowd. But in their first match, they went up against the sadistic Ashuraman and the nearly-invincible Sunshine. Sunshine remembered Geronimo and his Apache War Cry technique and stayed out of the match for most of the time. Ashuraman was a difficult opponent, much like in their last encounter, and Terryman had to join forces with Geronimo in tag combo techniques just to stay afloat against the demon choujin. However, when Ashuraman grabbed Geronimo in the fatal Improved Ashura Buster, Terryman took off the stars on his arms, throwing them at Ashuraman's chest to signify a surrender. Sunshines suddenly held Terryman by his arms and made him watch as Ashuraman launched himself in the air, coming back down with a mighty crash as he connected the Improved Ashura Buster on Geronimo, effectively killing him on the spot. Terryman, defeated, went to commentate for the rest of the first round matches and most of the second round matches.

Muscle Brothers
Muscle Brothers
When the Muscle Brothers (Suguru and Kinnikuman Great) fought Ashuraman and Sunshine, Kinnikuman Great was seriously wounded. Terryman brought him backstage and Kinnikuman Great removed his mask, showing Terryman his true identity of Prince Kamehame. He said that Suguru wouldn't be able to fight at full strength without him, so he gave Terryman the mask of Kinnikuman Great. Terryman took it as Prince Kamehame died and wore it, learning all of Kinnikuman Great's attacks and techniques. The new Muscle Brothers (without Suguru's knowledge of Kamehame's passing) then faced the Hell Missionaries, who were the newest and most fearsome competitors in the tournament. Neptuneman and Big the Budo were a favorite to win after they unmasked Warsman, Robin Mask, and Mongolman, defeated Buffaloman, and demolished a crane using their Magnet Power. The Muscle Brothers were hard-pressed to beat them in the three-round Sword-Edge Death Match, with the ring surrounded by wooden planks filled with blades, but Kinnikuman Great was hit with the devastating Cross Bomber and Terryman was revealed. Suguru, confused, wasn't able to fight at full strength and the first round went to the Hell Missionaries.

Then, things got intense.

Muscle Docking!!
Muscle Docking!!
Terryman and Suguru, after mourning for Prince Kamehame, joined forces again to become The Machineguns. Fighting back with all their power brought less-than-fortunate results for the heroes as Neptuneman and Big the Budo abused their powers to the fullest extent of their usage, going so far as to hurl lightning at theit opponents. Suguru finally realized their one weakness and flew to the core of the Earth to shut off the Magnet Power the Hell Missionaries fed off of by molding his arm into a key. When he returned, Neptuneman and Big the Budo were flabbergasted by their sudden drop in Magnet Power and were easy targets for the tremendous impact of a double Kinniku Buster technique. Big the Budo's mask chipped and he was revealed to be Neptune King. He grew desperate and sank to use whatever remained of his Magnet Power to kill Suguru with the blades surrounding the ring. Neptuneman became disgusted by the Perfect Choujin's misuse of the Perfect Choujin code and refused to fight for him anymore. Terryman and Suguru took the opportunity to hit them with the devestating Muscle Docking and Neptune King fell to the mat dead. Neptuneman flew to the sky and self-destructed to ward off Neptune King's invading army of Perfect Choujin and The Machineguns were crowned champions.
