Back in the late 90's/early 2000's, Cartoon Network's Toonami showed "Tenchi Muyo!" - a show that had at the time 3 installments...all revivesed and changing character histories. Talking about the first installment, the family tree seemed confusing...and now that thanks to the show "Tenchi Muyo! GXP", the family tree become MORE COMPLEX:
