Shu is heading back to Tennozu High School along with Inori, but he is not looking forward to facing the students of the school after being interrogated by the GHQ. While at his shoe locker, Shu overhears some boys talking about him and how he was picked up by the GHQ. Inori shoots an angry look towards them, but Shu takes her hand and leads her away from them. The boys notice how Shu's running away, and tell Inori to be careful around Shu since he's a "criminal". At that moment, a blonde-haired female student slapped the boy who called Shu a criminal. She then tells him that he ought to be ashamed of himself for stating something like that without any evidence.
It is revealed that the blonde-haired student is Arisa Kuhouin, the student council president. Arisa escorts Shu to his classroom, and asks Shu in front of the class whether or not GHQ treated him nicely, and that it must have been tough but one needs to cooperate with the government. What Arisa was attempting to do was to break the ice with the classroom, and to show the class that there is nothing wrong with Shu and nothing wrong with getting interrogatd by officials. Shu played along, and tells Arisa that he apparently found a cell phone that belonged to a GHQ member. Arisa then states that there are a lot of irresponsible rumours being spread around the school and if he ever needed anything, he should see her. At that moment, Souta comes into the classroom, and is ecstatic to see Shu. He then begins to ask him how things were with GHQ, which lead the classroom to ask Shu a wide array of questions like: What did they feed him? Were the soldiers scary? Is it true all the military men are gay? etc etc. Amidst all the chatting, Shu thanks Arisa for looking out for him.
Shu, Hare, Souta, and Inori have their lunch in the abandoned clubroom. Souta tells the others about Arisa - how she is the student council president, how she is an amazing athelete and student, and how she is the heir to the Kuhouin Group. In the meantime, Hare sends Shu all of the notes that he missed while gone. Hare notices the Shu somehow "changed" and blushes.
After being notified by a "good citizen", the GHQ gained information that a Japanese hostile to the GHQ will be holding a party at sea. This made the GHQ suspect that there would be a deal made amongst the Japanese during that party since it will be held outside of quarantined waters.
Segai, Daryl, and Rowan were assigned to be Dan Eagleman's subordinates. Eagleman commanded them to use the dragoon missiles to attack the ship. Rowan told Dan that the dragoons were made to fly upward, since they were surface-to-air dragoons. However, Dan stated that if something can fly upwards, then it can fly horizontally. Daryl used his Endlave to prepare the missiles for a horizontal attack.
Dan ordered the attack to commence, starting with one missile. However, Arisa's Void managed to destroy the missile before it hit the ship. Rowan tells Dan that the missile has disappeared which leads Dan to command them to release all the missiles, which are all destroyed by the Void. The mission was a failure at the end since the missiles ran out, and the ship was not destroyed.
Throughout the entire mission, Segai was asleep since he didn't take Eagleman seriously, and Daryl was very agitated with Eagleman's far-fetched orders. Rowan was the only subordinate who was patient with Eagleman.
