Marvel Teams Up With Tatsunoko

Some of you may remember a while back when Madhouse announced that they'd be doing four anime based on Marvel properties (Iron Man and Wolverine among them). And there have been Japanese manga versions of Spider-Man and X-Men in the past-- I'm referring here to created-by-Japanese-and-sold-in-Japan manga, as opposed to the Marvel Mangaverse works published in '05/'06 or Del Rey's upcoming X-Men titles and other such works geared towards American manga readers.


But now there's more: Tatsunoko, the production company behind Speed Racer, the Time Bokan series, original Macross, etc., has struck a deal to produce a super-series featuring characters from both the Marvel universe and Tatsunoko's series. (Which we've only learned about because Marvel is working with Takara Tomy for merchandising of the new series.)


I, for one, would like to see Doc Oc fight Yatterman, or maybe see Speed Racer take on the X-Men's Blackbird plane. That'd be pretty sweet. Unfortunately, this is a very, very early forewarning...we won't see this show for another three years.

LoL i would wanna see Karas vs Wolverine and Tekkaman (Blade) vs Iron Man  or even

Everything about this sounds cool.  I want some Marvel animes, dammit.  I can only drool at the thought of a Tatsunoko 'super-series.'  Someone make it so!

I really love a Marvel VS Tatsunoko game, seeing how awesome Capcom VS Tatsunoko is I really can't wait for that game to come out!

Karas vs Wolverine would be the coolest thing ever. Except for maybe Karas vs Deadpool.

Also, who could we pair Komugi up with for some lulzy witch action?
