Plot

Genre: Moe, School (I guess it's a Moe show, but I could be wrong.)

The story centers around five Japanese high school students who are too young to be called adults, but who no longer think of themselves as children.

Wakana Sakai once took music lessons, but she withdrew from music after losing her mother. Konatsu Miyamoto is a positive-thinking girl who loves singing and spends time after school at the vocal music club. Sawa Okita is a spirited archery club member who dreams of becoming a horse rider. Daichi Tanaka is a chronically late badminton team member who lives with his college student sister. "Wiin" just transfered into Wakana's class after 12 years abroad in Australia.

Music brings Wakana, Konatsu, Sawa and the others together into an ensemble during their last summer in high school.

Well, it kind of look like a moe show to me. This show isn't my taste, but I guess I will check this out. (one episode wouldn't hurt me, who knows it might be good)

It's made by the same people that made Hanasaku Iroha so I'll be checking this out. I think people need to stop feeling that a show will be bad because the kids aren't drawn hideous. Even in the real world, most children are cute to some degree.

@Destinyheroknight:

I should try it, too. I still don't understand or get the appeal of Moe shows.

@sickVisionz:

I do see the similarities in their character design especially the eyes.

Thanks for the comments, guys!

I think there is a huge misconception that if a show has moe character designs then that is the only redeeming factor of the series and the story of the show solely revolves around people being cute.

The possibility of it having interesting characters, being well written, having an engaging story or plot, quality animation, good music, etc doesn't even seem to enter people's minds.

@sickVisionz:

Well, I got burn by moe titles before and they pretty much "look how cute those guys are" So I will give this show a one shot chance (so please forgive me if I sound a little bitter)

Hope it isn't late to post in this. Anyways, I had no clue this series existed until a few days ago where a few of my gamer friends were talking about this. It's really a great series so far from what I've seen. Already it's becoming somewhat popular. The art style is what captures my interest the most. Extremely beautiful how it's done with the sunlight, rain, and the reflections. Now, is this also a manga or just an anime?

@Samimista:

Tari Tari has one volume published so far. I could not find a place to read it. I think I gave you the wrong link. Here's the tari tari discussion thread.
