Tapion is a brave warrior known for his hand in defeating the Evil Hirudegarn Thousands of years prior to the DBZ story. However, The only remaining member of the Kashvar has brought the evil back to life by pulling him from Tapion and his bother, Tapion must stop Hirudegarn once more!
Thousands of years before the Dragon Ball series took place, A great evil ran through the planet known as Kontas. The evil was known as Hirudegarn. Tapion and his little brother Minotia were average Kantosians at the beginning of the attack, however, after a Kantosian wizard stumbles upon an encanted sword an two ocarinas they were able to fight the Evil Hirudegarn off. Tapion and Minotia played the ocarinas (they were enchated as well as neither of them knew how to play) and out came a beautiful melody that seemed to stun the beast. It was then that the wizard took the blade and sliced Hirudegarn in half. Tapion and Minotia became heros, but they knew the fight was far from over.
The wizard called upon Tapion and Minotia once more, but this wasn't in a happy occasion. Though Hirudegarn was finally defeated, nothing would stop the Kashvar from resummoning the beast again. To ensure that Hirudegarn would never be summoned again, Tapion and Minotia agreed to let The wizard put Hirudegarn's lower half into Minotia's body and the upper half into Tapion's. They were happy to serve as heros even though they would never see eachother again. The two were then placed into two different music boxes and launched to the far reaches of the galaxy (opposite from each other) in hopes that Hirudegarn would never be summoned again.
Unfortunatley the last Kashvar known as Hoi wanted to ressurect Hirudegarn once more and would go out in space to find the two music boxes to do it. After thousands of years, he found the music boxes, Minotias was the first found and Hoi summoned the lower half of the Beast from Minotia. Minotia was easily killed. Tapion was the next one found, but he couldn't open the music box. After seeing Gohan in action, he knew he found a way to get it open. He stood on a tower yelling that he was going to jump that life wasn't worth living anymore. Videl and Gohan arrived at the scene and Videl taunted him in hopes of him backing down, but Hoi jumped. Gohan flew down and saved him. After putting him down, Hoi revealed the music box to Gohan that Tapion had been trapped for thousands of years. After Gohan attempted to open it, and failed, Hoi brought up Shenlong in hopes to get Gohan to get him to make the eternal dragon to open the music box. Gohan showed his father Goku the box (who also attempted to open the box and failed). After which, Goku and the gang flew out to find the mystic dragon balls.
When they were all found, they were put down in front of Bulma and Vegeta's house and the Dragon was summoned. At first, it seemed as though the attempt by Shenlong failed, but after a few moments, the box played a beautiful melody and out came the legendary warrior known as Tapion. However, Tapion was furious at being awoken and stormed away determined to keep the beast in him prisoned away.
Tapion was visited regularly by Trunks who looked up to him as an older brother. Tapion however, just wanted to be left alone and shunned him away. Tapion went days without eating. One day, Hirudegarn's lower half attacked West City and Gohan and Videl appeared in front of the beast to try and stop it. After a brief fight, the beautiful melody was played and the monster dissapeared, Tapion and Hoi were seen in the distance and were thought to be working together to create the beast. That was when Tapion came to realization the his little brother Minotia was dead.
Once again, Trunks visited Tapion in hopes of gaining respect from the hero, but this time was different, Hoi attempted to steal Tapions Ocarina, but the Ocarina fell into Trunks's hands. Hoi tried to convince Trunks that Tapion was infact the bad guy. Trunks didn't believe him and threw the ocarina to Tapion.
