Tales of Symphonia: The Animation is the story of the journey to restore the dying world of Sylvarant. Due to mana depletion and the constant fear of attack from the half-elven Desians, the people place their faith in the young Chosen One, Colette Brunel. Upon receiving the Oracle, her task is to head towards the Tower of Salvation and bring prosperity back to the world. Joining her is the idealistic main protagonist, Lloyd Irving, who also drags along his best friend, Genius. Her vanguard also consists of her teacher, Refill, as well as a mysterious mercenary by the name of Kratos Aurion.
