Points of Interest

  • Jiraiya only appears in this episode as a boy and is voiced by the actor who voices his child role.
  • This is the first episode in which Naruto activates Sage Mode.
  • Killer Bee is only seen this episode in the Eight-Tailed Ox form using the Tailed Beast Ball on Suigetsu. He has no spoken lines.
  • The kanji on the outside of the Raikage's mansion is 雷 (kaminari), which means "lightning".
  • The Hyuga incident tht Ei Yotsuki is speaking of is the one where a member of the Hidden Cloud Village attempted to kidnap Hinata Hyuga. The kidnapper was killed by Hinata's father, but the Cloud Village at the time demanded the killer be turned over to them. It was these events that led to the death of Neji Hyuga's father.
