Super Street Fighter IV Juri Forum

Didn't realize this until I was looking around today-- an English-language version of the trailer for Gonzo's upcoming Super Street Fighter IV: Juri is also making its way around the 'net. It includes a few tips on staff: Mami Yamaguchi (key animation on Summer Wars and Sergeant Frog) is supervising the animation, and Takashi Watabe ( Wings of Honneamise, Evangelion 1.0/ 2.0) did mech design.
 
 

Not sure how I feel about the English voice actress for Juri-- some of the lines in the trailer I dig the delivery of, but a couple I'm less enthused by ("Let's go KILL something" in particular).

How 'bout you?

Holy god......  Juri's English voice is terrible.  When SSSIV comes out, I'm going straight to Options and turning on the Japanese voices.
 
Either way, this is one of my most anticipated games of this year.  Can't wait.   :)

Hey, at least you can get that option there. Unlike with some particular mangas which I shall not quite name.

Whenever bad guys say, "it won't hurt a bit"; they are lying...  because they're "badguys"!

Someone needs to turn down the evil valleygirl vibe I'm getting from that voice.

Oh hey it's the FoxxFire subtle but totally obvious mention about the evil overlords at Viz, that is used whenever the opportunity presents itself. That said I admire your perserverance in doing so.

I wonder when this is coming out and in what format? Is it going  to be shipped with the release of the game (which I believed is planned for March). Juri's voice may seem a little off, but it appears that all the actors that were in the game are  going to be in the anime, which I think is rather cool.

@OtakuVal: Could be released with the game, or just at the same time as the game (which seems more likely-- and then there can be special edition bundles). Or maybe after the game, as an advertisement to get people back to the game after they've forgotten about it. Hmm ;)
