It’s once again time for another Super Robot Wars  game to be released, which is a very happy time in the God Len household (parents basement.) Right off the bat, this one is going to be the black sheep of the family. First of all this is the first SRW game for the Wii, and like the SRW game for the Gamecube, be 3D animated instead of the usual sprite animation.

What really makes this game stand apart from all the others are the series that are appearing in this game. This game features an all super robot cast, with no real robots present. Meaning there are no Gundams other than G Gundam. The series within this game are almost entirely from the late 80’s and 90’s, with a total of four anime from the “Eldran series”, which is similar to the “Brave” series of anime. This was totally unexpected, but being a super robot guy that I am, I have no problem with it.

So I wonder if it being on the Wii has anything to do with it being all super robots. Does that mean there is going to be some kind of motion control aspect to it all? Well, why I fantasize, take a look at the entire series list below.
