She is one of the seven dolls known as Rozen Maidens. She is cold-hearted and has no sympathy or love for her "sisters." She wants to become the winner of the "Alice Game."
History
Suigintou or Mercury Lampe is the first of seven magical, life like dolls created by German toy maker Rozen. In the anime, for an unknown reason, part of her design was erased. She was left incomplete--without a torso. In the manga, she has wings which have created numerous cracks all in her back. She was left bitter and angry towards her sisters. She especially resents Shinku (Reiner Rubin). Her love of her "Father," Rozen, brought her to life. At the end of the first season of Rozen Maiden, she is defeated and her body is presumably destroyed. In Rozen Maiden Traumend, Suigintou reappears having been made whole.
