Origins

He is the captain of the fourth magical division. He has blonde hair, cleft chin, and loves to wear pink armor.

Creation

Sugarboy is created by Hiro Mashima. His Japanese voice actor is Yoshimitsu Shimoyama.

Story Arcs

Edolas Arc

Sugarboy makes his appearance when Erza Knightwalker almost had the Fairy Tail guild in her hands. He tells her to head back to the castle. At the castle, Sugarboy, Hughes, and Erza talk about the recent military build up. Upon staring at the Lacrima, Hughes says the Lacrima is made of 10,000 Earthland people but Sugarboy corrects Hughes. According to him, it is made of 100 mages plus other living things. Bryo appears and asks why Erza has not captured the mages. Sugarboy backs up Erza by telling him that they will eventually capture them. Panterlily appears to silence Bryo's creepy laughter and Hughes' "awesome" phrases. Sugarboy and Erza note that Pantherlily is not please with the military build up. Though Sugarboy states that there are pockets of resistance out there, Erza reassures him that the army will take care of them soon enough.
