Happy New Year from Studio Ghibli!

 I know it may seem a bit early for many of you, but it's already well past midnight in Japan (and I think more than a few of you are in Singapore, who also already past midnight, right?). So Studio Ghibli offers you this welcome to 2010, the Year of the Tiger. And oh my god it's adorable-- and drawn by Hayao Miyazaki himself!
There'll be a lot more of these illustrations; I'll try to collect the best ones and post 'em later...if I have time! For now, though: how many of you guys are year of the Tiger for your Chinese zodiac? I'm a Rat myself...

 Miyazaki-sensei just has that touch, doesn't he? That is so adorable! 
 
I am born under the sign of the Rat as well

Yep I was one of those kids born during the year the Berlin Wall fell down. Go end of The Cold War babies!
