As a dyed-in-the-wool Studio Ghibli fanboy I've been more than a little anxious to see some real footage from the animation house's new project The Borrower Arrietty for a long time now. The film releases in two weeks in Japan and is based on a series of children's fantasy novels by British author Mary Norton about a family of tiny people that live underneath the floorboards of an old house. No U.S. distribution deals have been announced as of yet, but like most Ghibli films it'll come stateside...eventually.
