A Japanese animation studio.
Formed in 1983 by former staffers from Tsuchida Production, Studio Fantasia appears to have been intended as a liability shield for what turned out to be the lucrative new world of straight-to-video animation. Its early works included stints on Cream Lemon and later installments of Project A-ko, establishing a reputation for "fan service"-wholly gratuitous nudity or quasi-nudity-that has made it a popular studio to this day, and led to the ludicrously unsubtle Agent Aika and Najica.
