A strict-seeming high school student.

Origin

Chosen by Itsuki Koizumi's method and acting as an Agency member, the Student Council Chairman has been placed specifically to act as a nemesis to Haruhi to keep her interested in the world as it currently exists. He does this by challenging the existence and activities of the SOS Brigade.

Personality

In front of Haruhi, the Chairman wears glasses and acts like an uptight stickler for the rules. When she's no longer in earshot, he takes the glasses off and becomes a smooth-talking, cigarette-smoking young man who is beginning to enjoy wielding power in his role.
