The NEW War On Pants: Strike Witches Season 2

Moon Phase -came out today claiming that the Strike Witches second season (tentatively titled Strike Witches Second Stage) is going to air this very summer.

Also offered up is a photo of a poster that comes from what I think is Megami Magazine, if I recognize that titlebar (and if I don't, correct me in the comments). In addition to the tentative title and release date, the poster features-- and I had to look this up as best as I could since I'm not into this show, bear with me if I'm wrong again --Erica Hartmann, Gertrud Barkhorn, and Minna Dietlinde-Wilcke, from left to right.

As you may remember, AIC is set to replace the first season's animation studio, Gonzo, for the second season-- word that came out in November, so we were about due for word on the project, I suppose.

So! WHO'S EXCITED FOR MAGICAL FLYING LOLI CATGIRLS (and bunnygirls)?

@RockmanBionics: No, I'm pretty sure that's a nipple. Underneath her left shoulder, that circled area of pink nub. Yes, I'm definite that's a nipple. It hasn't been THAT long

its not, look near her waist and theirs another one.

Also i wouldn't really say Strike Witches is a "loli" anime as their arent really that many "loli" characters in it. Though i must say im looking forward to it, for some reason i enjoyed the first season so this will be nice, hope their will be more of trudie <3 lol

That's no nipple gents, tis some stylistic effect used to make skin look like it's slick and shiny and for some reason when drawing in an anime/manga style it is used to signify the flesh be soft. I think there is an actual name for it but I know not of what it is.

@Gia The poster is from volume 5 of Nyantype (just came out), not Megami. Megami's bar is grey, while Nyantype's is light blue. ;)

@RockmanBionics: Yeah, I'm on the "that's a shine" train on this one. Though it wouldn't be the first time a mangaka/animator has gotten nipple placement horribly, horribly wrong...

@gia: I heard it's actually illegal to have children visible in public. If you want to take a minor out you have to throw a blanket over them.
