Powers and Abilities

Lightning

Probably Storm's most prominent weapon, she has used this weapon a lot throughout the year. She has been shown to pull lightning out of thin air. She can also use this ability as a concussive force. Also, she has been seen to travel by lightning, but she rarely uses this ability. Her lightning has been powerful enough to destroy the Blackbird, the X-Men's aircraft. She also has blocked Cyclops blasts, as seen in the image to the right. Storm has also been shown to bring lightning out of nowhere, meaning there wasn't a storm in sight, lightning is also one of her fastest attacks, as well as her main offensive ability. Although it is rare due to different circumstances, Storm has occasionally used her lightning as a defensive capability, as seen in the photo below. The rare occasion of this ability is probably due to the attack must be thin enough to be blocked by lightning, as well as other weather conditions.

"Worlds Apart"

Wind

This power of Storm's is her most versatile. Her wind has easily been able blow over the Hulk and she was even able to create a hurricane over New York without harming anyone other than the Sentinel she was trying to destroy. She has very precise control of the air itself, she was even able to control when a soldier took breath. Her wind manipulation also gives her the ability to fly, which she has seen being able to keep up with jets while in flight. Along with her ability to control the air, also has very precise control over pressure. One of her attacks that deal with air pressure is called a Jovian Pressure Field, which she has easily destroyed mountains with this ability.

Resistance

Storm has two main things that she has a resistance to, the weather and telepathy. Even though you may think Storm is immune to the weather, this is not so. She does, however, have extreme resistance to it and has been shown to re-enter the atmosphere and be in perfect condition afterwards. She has also has a resistance to telepathy, and has been told by Jean Grey that she has a wall around her mind, so its very hard to read or even reach
