Creation
The character Stocking Anarchy a main character created for the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt anime series that was produced by Gainax. She and the rest of the cast were designed by Atsushi Nishigori.
She first appeared in Panty & Stocking - Episode 1 "Part 1: Excretion Without Honor and Humanity", and her first manga appearance was in Panty & Stocking Vol. 1 Ch. 1 "?". She was voiced by the Japanese voice actress Mariya Ise, and the U.S. dub produced by FUNimation is done by Monica Rial.
Character Evolution
Stocking has a very nonchalant attitude towards things and an immense sweet tooth. Her weapon of choice is a katana made from stockings, although they look more like knee high socks, which she removes before going into battle.
