Sting Eucliffe News

Sting Eucliffe is a anime/manga character in the Fairy Tail franchise
| |

I really don’t understand Fairy Tail these days. I mean, I understand the kind of manga I am dealing with, but even removing it from more serious categories of manga doesn’t rationalize chapters like this, which seem so wasteful. If Hiro is pushing towards a specific end, I am yet to understand it, that is beyond continuing to ruin what was a really great story.

THE CHAPTER:

Face rises across the land. Minerva and Erza’s battle comes to an end as a surprising ally enters the battle field.

MY THOUGHTS:

Here is the thing; Fairy Tail is a story largely revolved around the idea of Nakama as some sort of empowering element; and that explains why so many of these arcs turn out the way they usually do.

But the Tartaros Arc is turning into a disturbing facsimile of the Daimatou Enbu arc; what turned the Daimatou Enbu saga into something less than impressive was the waste, the way Hiro created interested plots and threw them down the toilet, a stark example being Sting and his sudden decision to give up on an easy win.

At one point I thought that to be the worst thing to ever happen in the entire Fairy Tail, that is until these events in chapter 388, that basically saw Minerva receive the same very typical very cheesy Fairy Tail redemption usually assigned to less interesting villain.

SERIOUSLY? This was what we had been anticipating reading all this time? This is the epic Minerva/Erza showdown Hiro has been teasing since the last arc? Hiro gave us a glimpse of what could be earlier in the year, made threats of something new to come the next time Erza and Minerva clashed, possibly hidden demonic powers that might bring Erza and her Nakagami armor to her knees, possibly bringing about a surprise twist in the final outcome.

THIS IS THE DEMON MINERVA WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR? REALLY? I am…stunned at how these arcs and plots are starting to feel recycled; and I feared this would happen during the Daimatou Enbu, a justified fear after almost every villain in the tournament turned into a Natsu wannabe following the Fairy Tail mantra.

Except Hiro did the unexpected and presented MInerva as a truly immovable villain, one who wouldn’t be shaken by Fairy Tail friendship magic, and who couldn’t stop till she had laid waste to Erza and her crew.

…I just don’t get it. I understand what Fairy Tail is, and this rant isn’t about the series’ repetitive use of Nakama power related solutions such as this. My irritation is aimed towards Hiro’s continuous teasing, basically dangling one potential story only to deliver another less satisfying version.

This came out of nowhere. At no point was it ever hinted that MInerva would be undergoing this very sudden very unwarranted shift in loyalties.

I am so enraged by the events of this chapter that I am forgetting to mention Sting and Rogue, who ended chapter 388 with a bang. That is one surprise that was appreciated, because I am finding myself suddenly very uninterested in reading anything about any member of the Fairy Tail Guild. Except for maybe Gray. And Lucy and Wendy.

RATING: 3/10, one needs to ask. Does Fairy Tail have any actual villains to speak of? One might mention Zero but he was more insane than evil, and Hades made a recent shift from dark to light. Zeref has already proven that he posses some modicum of goodness in him, a light Natsu will no doubt bring out.

That doesn’t leave anyone that I can think of.

I spent an irritating Tuesday and Wednesday anticipating a new fairy tail chapter because of last week’s late/early release. Sufficing to say it didn’t come, which was disappointing and when it finally came on Friday, it wasn’t as good as i expected, or at least as good as last week’s chapter, which might have had that level of impact because it literally came out of the blue, catching me off guard.

THE PLOT:>

Last week we found out quite a number of things. First Rogue lied just a bit. Ten thousand dragons did not come through the gate and take over the world. It was one dragon that contended with and

eventually subjugated humanity, and that was Achnologia. With his power alone, he brought the world to its knees. Rogue at first comes off as logical and innocent, claiming that he wished to unleash ten thousand dragons to use as tools to combat the achnologia. Then he reveals that his intention isn’t as much to save humanity as it is to rule over them in Achnologia’s place. Natsu quickly puts a stop to his rumblings by nearly taking his dragon, mother glare, down.

Natsu then reveals what we all knew, that only dragon slayers could defeat the dragons and this is qualified when Makarov, even with his giant magic, is incapable of doing anything more than getting burnt when he tries to take on atlas flame. With Laxus, Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy, Rogue and sting, that makes six dragon slayers against seven dragons. But we quickly learn of the favor that Jellal asked of the two council members, which is to free cobra, the poison dragon slayer from his incarceration, to join the battle.

We also learn that Rogue and sting did indeed lie about killing their dragons, though that was kind of obvious since they would have been way too young to execute such a significant task. it turns out that their dragons were reaching the end of their lives and asked the pair to kill them, apparently because bathing in the blood of a dragon grants one great power. So far that doesn’t seem to be the case.

In this chapter, the fight has finally began. Laxus takes on Atlas flame in Makarov’s place, then sending Gajeel to find himself a dragon to slay. Pegasus blue try and fail at beating the their enemy and it falls to cobra to save them. Rogue and Natsu’s battle is about to commence, but before that, Rogue has the dragon unleash a myriad of eggs each of which hatch into little dragon like monsters.

At the gate, Zirconis makes his move, first ‘incapacitating’ the king’s army and then Lucy, before coming face to face with Wendy. All in all a set up chapter.

MY REVIEW:>

I loved chapter 329, mostly because of that huge bomb shell that not only would we be seeing Achnologia again (soon in fact) but that it alone had the power to subjugate the entire human race. That revelation made Rogue’s actions so much more sane and logical, in contrast to the slayers. Well, they do have to stop him, but i wonder if they have thought about what happens after. They will obviously need the seven dragons to achieve victory, especially if you consider that in the original timeline, seven dragon slayers couldn’t stop Achnologia. They should probably focus on trying to free and refocus the fury of the dragons towards their looming enemy.

Either way, things just got better for fairy tail’s future, because we now know why Zeref, in the last arc, spoke of the ending of an age with the coming of Achnologia who, besides annihilating the island, simply flew away. I guess he could foresee the consequences to come, that Achnologia would return to rule the world.

This recent chapter,330, wasn’t the most exciting. It was mostly set up with the dragon slayers pairing with their dragons. Next week will be Wendy Vs. Zirconis.

I don’t see her beating the dragon, she could barely stand against Chelia and her god slaying magic and back then she was coming at her with a whole new set of moves. Now, so soon after the tournament i don’t expect her to win this; but we all know that she will and it is up to Hiro to make this look good. I DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT WANT TO SEE NAKAMA POWER PREVAIL AGAIN. Hiro needs to make this look good and convincing because i don’t see Wendy winning this even if it is merely Zirconis and it will be his job to make me believe that it is possible.

I see what Hiro is trying to do with the little dragon monsters, which is simply trying to give the other mages something to do while the slayers do there thing. It isn’t a bad plot, but i had hoped that they would at least assist the dragon slayers in slaying the dragons. I am curious as to what role the god slayers are going to play in the battle. I have yet to see any gods so Hiro had better elaborate on the whole god slayer business. Besides that however, i am curious as to how their magic affects dragons. I suspect that Jellal is sitting in a prison somewhere having exchanged his freedom for cobra’s.

I am starting to think that the dragons were right about the power gained from bathing in dragon blood, after all sting and rogue can achieve dragon force mode easily while Natsu can’t

Highlights: Rogue revealing that achnologia took over the world. I was afraid that Natsu’s initial attack had put that dragon down. That would have been disappointing. Pegasus blue’s attempts to take down the rock dragon where hilarious. I have always considered Ichiya to be a creepy comic, he managed to force a few chuckles out of me with his so called armpit perfume attack. I am loving Zirconis and his wacky attitude.

Lots of fan service in chapter 330, of course centered around Lucy.

MY RATING:> chapter 329- 3.5/5; chapter 330- 2/5, i get that it as was a set up chapter but that doesn’t change the fact that i was disappointed.

| |

It has been quite a few chapters since the end of the Daimatou Enbu and i am still far from comfortable with fairy tail. Every time a new chapter of fairy tail is released, i read it with bated breath, mostly because i am expecting Hiro to royally screw up in one way or another regarding the story. I thought i was comfortable after last week’s chapter, but there are still so many ways this can go wrong that i won’t rest easy till this arc is closed.

THE PLOT:>

Lucy tries and fails to seal the gates. She simply isn’t strong enough. Meanwhile the dragons are still pouring out. It is then that Yukino shows up, probably after a lengthy pep talk from MiraJane. Joining hands and powers, the pair celestial mages combine there respective keys to perform zodiac, a magic that allows them to summon all the 12 zodiac spirits and with their combined might they slam the gates shut.

But the situation is far from solved. There are still seven dragons on the loose. Rogue is initially unhappy with Lucy’s interference but soon sees the silver lining. Apparently future rogue is in possession of a dragon manipulation magic that once allowed him to control ten thousand dragons. But it seems that it was too difficult a task for him, because he comments that manipulating seven dragons will prove to be a much easier task.

He sets the dragons loose, impelling them to destroy each and every mage in the city. Team fairy tail, on the standby in the square is accosted by the flaming dragon atlas flame, while saber tooth must contend with a horned beast of their own. The team at the gate is left at the mercy of Zilconis, the very dragon whose ghost they met in the graveyard below. Meanwhile, Rogue mounts one dragon and begins to fly around the city, speaking of how the time of humanity had ended and the era of the dragons had began when he spots Natsu, atop a tower, clearly preparing to launch his counter offensive.

MY REVIEW:>

I have to admit, i am having a ball with the recent chapters of fairy tail. This is as action packed as i expect fairy tail to get and i only hope Hiro can keep it up. I have waited 300 chapters to see the dragons and Hiro hasn’t disappointed me. They look like absolute monsters and i can’t see how any of these mages, worn from battle, will survive he fight. The fact that Sting and Rogue are even bothering to involve themselves is laughable. That dragon is clearly going to slaughter.

Now we know that Rogue is evil. I thought it was a shame at first, but it is an improvement to his character, both of their characters since it is technically sting and rogue. With Rogue so easily wiping the floor with Natsu earlier on, i can’t see how the fire mage will come out on top this time. Whatever happens, Hiro better make it look good, because there is no amount of leveling up or power up available to Natsu that will enable him to [fairly] defeat Rogue WITH A BLOODY DRAGON BY HIS SIDE. Either way, i am stoked for next week’s chapter. If Hiro is wise he will focus in on one specific fight per chapter, rather than the unpleasant manner in which he split up 25 pages among multiple combatants and battles on the last day of the tournament.

We need an in depth look at each team and how they go about tackling the challenge that each dragon posses.

Lucy was kind of impressive in this one. When first introduced, Yukino was shown as a bad ass mage; she became excessively wimpy after that. This didn’t redeem her but the whole zodiac magic thing will look good if ever animated. Hopefully we can get to see a little more of her in the coming battle. Lucy can definitely stand to learn something from her as a celestial mage.

My favorite dragon of them all is atlas flame. The whole flaming body look is just…awesome. It is moments like this that i can’t help but acknowledge Hiro’s creativity in designing so many mages, magics and monsters. i can’t wait to see exactly how fairy fairs against the beast, if they survived that spray of flame. This is fairy tail at its best (almost) but no matter how good the story gets, it will be defined and best remembered by how it ends. If Hiro can close this story off satisfactorily, then..i can’t wait for next week’s mayhem.

PREDICTION: I actually don’t see Zeref playing any part in this arc. Rather i am expecting to see Igneel come to Natsu’s rescue. Even if he went dragon force, that would only enable him to contend with Rogue, but that dragon is more than even he can handle. Though there is Gajeel and his new shadow powers. Chances are we will see a team up, probably some kind of dragon slayer fusion type magic like Lucy almost did with her clone during the tournament. Team fairy tail is far from defeated as they have makarov on their side, though it will be interesting to see just what fairy law can do against it. Then their is Mavis. I assume Hiro is finally going to put her into play, though she has said that as a ghost she cannot do anything.

MY RATING:> 5/5. Sure i expect Hiro to screw up in one way or another in each chapter but he has not so far and i can only hope he doesn’t.

That big guy is me, knocked out by this chapter
That big guy is me, knocked out by this chapter

This chapter, fairy tail 322…I have no words…literally.

I have been writing my blog (initially at katmic.blogspot.com and recently on anime vice) for a little over three months, so let me elucidate a bit on the process involved in writing the twenty or so posts that I have written, in order to put this particular blog into context.

I will try to publish a new post every one to three days; as far as the subject is concerned, writing takes about 30 minutes and not more than forty on most days if I can help it. And the reason for that restricted time line is that I rarely ever sit down to write down new material from scratch. Usually I will come up with the subject for my blog at least a week before I actually get down to writing it. For instance, the last blog is posted, relating to epic anime moments, I came up with some time in early February.

However other than not actually having a concrete idea of how exactly I would write, I also kept coming across and wrapping up with some great anime which either spurred me on to do a review or brought into existence an entirely new idea that proved more interesting to me than that first idea.

Anyway, other than a few cases when something will inspire me to sit down and write on the fly, by the time I actually get down to writing a post, I will have already written the post in my head over several days to weeks, so all I am doing is copying and pasting. As such, my writing rarely needs to precede beyond 30 minutes.

Beyond the writing, there is the more irritating process of locating images, downloading them, uploading them to the blog and arranging them in a way that will correlate with the message of the post.

Add to that the 15-20 minutes of editing I do-during which I correct any and all errors, errors here including misspellings and incorrect punctuations along with any points that I may wish to explore further, cut back on or delete all together-and my total blog writing time can come up to about one and half hours.

However that estimation is probably an under exaggeration, Taking into consideration my (sort of) employment, I will mostly write during the the lulls of the day where business is scarce or slow; but even then, any five minute bit of writing that I will do will be continuously and irritatingly interrupted repeatedly for long periods of time, the end result of which is that I may, taking into account minutes to hours spent relaxing (watching anime/TV), take an entire day writing a five page blog (sometimes).

So in a way writing my blog can be exhausting, especially taking into account the point I made in an earlier blog, that I don’t like writing in phases. IN that, even if a blog post is 15-20 pages long, I will sit down and write it in one go, rather than writing it a few pages a day.

However in describing the process of writing my blog, I would refer to it as frustrating rather than difficult. Why, you might wonder? Why bother writing a blog that I don’t have to do and on a self assigned schedule I don’t have to keep? Simply put, it is fun.

Other than the writing practice is get, I enjoy sitting down and writing this blog. These words that you are reading, I am most likely having a lot of fan writing them. There are times I take a sit at the table and spend the next hour typing away at my laptop. And as my parents and siblings walk by, minding there own business, wondering why I am sweating so much, even while I seem so keen on the task occupying my time, they have no idea how exhilarating and excited I am feeling at that moment.

There are times when writing a post will produce the same excitement as watching the anime or reading the manga I am writing about. That might be because I spend more time thinking and talking in my head than actually producing words from my mouth, but the fact is I enjoying writing my blog.

Even the task of formulating and developing my articles over a week’s time isn’t as tedious as it sounds. When I am executing the different vigorous and energy consuming tasks that my (sort of) job entails, be it walking some distance to deliver certain items, or collect certain documents from some office somewhere in town, or doing some manual work around the office or at home or etc.,there are few things that will enable me to alleviate the stress involved with this kind of work (even non physical work but none the less patience degrading and excruciating tasks like recording entire volumes of data into the computer); I can listen to my music, which I will vary from hard to soft rock, to classical, to gospel depending on the need. Or I can listen to my networking or programming notes. Or I can put some time into the other writing related projects I am working on (that I might never complete with my laziness).

But in the several times when all those pass times, when even the radio (I spend a lot of time on BBC) fail to entertain me, I turn to my blog. When I am assigning so much brain power to working out the finer points of an argument I want to make, I will notice neither the blazing sun nor the irritating cold of rain.

Same thing goes for those dull, slower days; even when the idea of opening my laptop and writing a few lines of a post feels torturous to my lethargic brain, once I put a paragraph down, the excitement returns and I will not stop till I finish my task.

Now of course you might be wondering what any of this has to do with fairy tail chapter 322.

Well, to put it bluntly, this chapter was crap, in every sense of the word. I sat down for the longest time, thinking about what I could say about chapter 322, be it negative or positive, but I simply could think of anything to say.

Simply put, reading chapter 322 left me drained as far as all things fairy tail are concerned. It wasn’t merely bad, it was a total and utter disappointment, to the point where talking about it seems tedious and energy consuming.

If I wasn’t a fairy tail fan, if fairy tail wasn’t one of the first three mangas I have ever read, after Evangelion and Veritas, if I hadn’t been an ardent fan of fairy tail for the last three or so years, I would have stopped reading fairy tail right here and right now.

Honestly speaking, i actually considered making this my last fairy tail chapter. But I won’t do that, thought it was that bad. Rather than waste a whole load of time reviewing the material, I will leave it at simply explaining what happened.

Erza beat Minerva, with a random as they come attack from a random as they come weapon, after a ridiculously brief and nonsensical explanation about what the hell the Armor of Nakagami was.

And when I say Erza beat Minerva, I mean it was that brief. One or two panels of Minerva’s fall, after who knows how many chapters of Minerva stomping the craziness out of Erza. Add that to the explanation over the ridiculous amounts of magic required to fuel the armor, magic that Erza simply couldn’t possess after such a grueling battle and this battle isn’t worth mentioning.

I know this is fairy tail, but the whole ‘power of nakama’ thing doesn’t even cut it here. I know this is fiction, but even a fictional universe has fictional logic and fictional rules, that Hiro just broke.

Elsewhere Gray and Juvia beat Lyon and Chelia. That one was so silly, not merely because it only took one half of a page to do, but because I don’t even know what the hell they did.

Sting finally makes his move, then he doesn’t. Lector is alive and well and…fairy won the Daimatou Enbu and I couldn’t be more disappointed.

Natsu made some mention of how things had began to move, along with Arcadios and some other people I don’t really care for; basically it was time for eclipse and…I don’t really care, because thinking about this chapter only infuriates me further.

This is what I don’t get. Hiro gave us 35 pages for chapter 322, basically 10-15 more pages than he normally would; and I don’t really see what happened that couldn’t have happened in 15-20 pages.

And what was with that color page; of all the panels that Hiro could have colored, he chose the Juvia and Gray crap…

I can only conclude as such: Hiro was really really excited to get to what came after the tournament that he neglected the current story; he was tired of doing the Daimatout Enbu; he is secretly a lousy mangaka and an even lousier story teller or he simply hates fairy tail and wants it done with.

I made the decision to write these posts on fairy tail with the aim of converting fairy tail haters into fairy tail fans, by showing them the attractions that fairy tail has to offer.

However I wouldn’t encourage or recommend any non fairy tail fan to read this 35 page waste of space. I had so much hope for this arc and it is all Hiro’s fault. He set things up so well; fact is the last couple of chapters have been on fire, but he simply couldn’t deliver on the hopes he had created for us fans.

Rather than maul over the events of this chapter, I will choose to wait for next week’s chapter. I will hope against all hope that Hiro makes up for this. But the truth is it will take something absolutely explosive, absolutely bombastic, to make up for the mess that was chapter 322. And with all I have seen, I am pretty sure a feat like that is beyond Hiro’s abilities.

As a fan of one piece, naruto and bleach, I have noticed each of these three giants make some disastrous mistakes over the years, Bleach worst of all, and naruto mostly in the last year, during the initial events of the fourth great shinobi war (when you choose to replace fists and jutsus with soothing words, any plot will undeniably lose its fire), but nothing like the way fairy tail will builds itself up, only to knock its own self back down.

Suddenly it makes so much sense why fairy tail isn’t one of and might never become a member of the big three.

AS one reviewer I watch pointed out, there is one good thing about this chapter; we are finally done with the tournament, and now we can move on to the next chapter of fairy tail’s story; again that is me hoping that there is more to Hiro’s story than I am giving him credit for. Then again maybe it wasn’t a good idea to write this review immediately after reading it; maybe if I had given it a day, and then given the chapter a fresh look, my perspective might have changed.

Either way, I give it a 0/5 (okay 0.5/5)

Like I said, I won’t bother talking about this chapter much further, rather the two links I have posted below will better explain it all, I don’t have the strength.

Plot

Sky Labyrinth

Welcome to the Fairy Tail weekly report! We're in the elimination rounds, and we're almost starting the tournament. The action pack fun is almost within our reach if Fairy Tail picks up the pace.

Natsu and his gang have to figure out how to get through the crazy mazes and contraptions of the Sky Labyrinth to reach the goal before they get disqualified. Can they do it and will Lisanna & Happy find Wendy & Charle?

Note: Charle, Charla, or Carla has different spelling, so I'm sticking with Charle because I'm used to it. I'm sorry.

Verdict

Beware of spoilers!

Good

  • For Elfman fans, be prepared for his awesome manly feats. It's a been long time since we see Elfman taking the spotlight. Hopefully, he gets some action in tournament and Wendy, too. Wendy is one of favorite characters (not to be a lolicon). Though, she brings variety to the table unlike the big boobed girls in Fairy Tail.
  • Speaking of Wendy, Lisanna and Happy's search scene for Wendy and Charle takes a good chunk of this episode.
  • We got plenty of humorous scenes of Natsu's gang silly antics. I loved Erza's femdom scene. It will wake up the masochistic side of the Erza fans. Oh god, let's not talk about fetish stuff in this anime.

Bad

  • First off, this episode is slow. The beginning and the middle scenes didn't cover much. it was just Lucy and the gang getting lost until we get some action. The cameos of the other guilds was good but not satisfying enough for the fans. It's like the filler arc where they stalled. I need to check how many manga chapters they covered. I'm pretty sure this Sky Labyrinth preliminary rounds was only covered in one chapter or less of the manga.

Overall, this episode is decent but somewhat entertaining. The main problems is that it's slow with barely enough content to keep the fans entertained. Interestingly enough, we see Blue Pegasus using magic, but Sting Eucliffe and Rogue Cheney have not used their powers. We don't know what kind of Dragon Slayers they are yet.

Plot

Welcome to the weekly Fairy Tail report. I'm proud to announced that the Starry Sky/ Filler arc is finished! Though, we get to see Byro and his gang for one more time in this episode.

After Makarov accepts Byro's apology, the Fairy Tail gang and Legion have a wild party. Then, Makarov has a word with Gildartz and the others reach some closure with each other. Meanwhile, two mysterious strangers appear. It's Sting and Rogue, the newest Dragon Slayers in the anime.

Verdict

Beware of spoilers!

Good

  • Juvia: Gray, who is this guy?
Juvia: Gray, who is this guy?
Finally this filler arc ends. We get a bit of Sting and Rogue and news that Gildartz is the new guild master. Wonder how Gildartz will handle leadership.
  • While Lucy and Mary's scene is touching, Juvia and Dan's scenes are funny. I love how Dan is frighten by Juvia or the fact that Juvia ignores that Gray's beauty attracts men such as Sugarboy. The part where Natsu tries to make Byro smile is awkward yet humorous.
  • Theme songs are great. The ending is mellow and shows Mavis who we haven't seen much. The opening is also mellow, and I like how it shows all of the guilds fighting in the tournament.

Bad

  • For those who want to get into the main storyline, the first half is just filler part where they party. It was a slow episode.

Bizarre

  • The cats are in strange color. When I first saw Frosh in the manga, I thought he is in a green or blue frog suit, and his fur is red. Instead, we get a pink frog. For me, I thougt Lector was suppose to be orange or yellow. I don't mind the colors.
  • In the opening, team Fairy Tail had purple outfits. It's a unique color to say the least.

Overall, the episode is average but good. It's just slow when you looking at the Fairy Tail characters catching up with Legion and there is some exposition on Zeref and Sabertooth's part.

Thanks

Howdy everyone and welcome to the Fairy Tail weekly report! This is the 2nd to last episode in the filler arc because next episode preview contains scenes of Legion and a scene of Sting Eucliffe and Rogue Cheney.

Plot

Only Brain II is left standing between Natsu and Lucy, but he's the most powerful of the Six Generals! Also, learn the secret history of Lucy and Michelle in this epic finale to the Key of the Starry Heavens arc!

By Crunchyroll

Verdict

Beware of spoilers!

Good

  • Emotional Momentum:Fairy Tail always grabs me when the old Fairy Tail music swings and Natsu and his gang kick butt. It's the only time where talk about friendship is allowed.
  • Michelle and Jude's Back Story: Michelle and Lucy's bond is one of the biggest highlights in this filler arc. In the end, Michelle/Imitatia really love Lucy, but she was controlled by Midnight as a puppet.
  • Natsu's fight with Midnight is short which is good because Natsu's fights are pretty much overpowering his enemies. No creativity or anything new occurs.

Bad

Rogue and Sting might show up at the end of Ep 151
Rogue and Sting might show up at the end of Ep 151
  • Pre-planning crap: I don't believe that Klodoa, Midnight, and the others set this plan for 7 years or more. That's ridiculous if you agree with me.
  • Midnight's daddy problems didn't go so well. Lucy and Natsu just rattled the guy's nerves which led to his defeat.
  • Next episode still includes some filler which will drive fans nuts when they want to see Sting and Rogue.

Bizarre

Cobra and Kinana - what's happening here?
Cobra and Kinana - what's happening here?
  • Kinana x Cobra:Wish we could see more of their back story on how the two met. They're pretty close.
  • Lucy became the ship.
  • What will happened to Kinana? Will she stay with the Fairy Tail guild?

Overall, this episode is decent. After stalling the anime with mediocre fights and stale humor, we're almost at the manga's current story. The unique thing about this filler arc is Michelle who brought a mystery element into it.
