The adventure begins when a traveling merchant Kraft Lawrence goes to the town of Pasloe and finds a strange girl in the back of his caravan. She calls herself Holo the Wisewolf and asks him to take her back to her home in the north.
When Kraft Lawrence travels to the town of Pasloe he encounters a strange girl who has the ears and tail of a wolf but the body of that of a young girl. She identifies herself as Holo the Wisewolf, naturally Lawrence assumes she is lying until she mentions the names of locations that are a few centuries old, knowing that only someone of that time would know of such places Lawrence begins to believe her but still has his doubts on weather of not she is truly a wisewolf and the god of the harvest. She agrees to show him a small part of her wolf form to get rid of any doubts on who she really is. After clearing up any doubts on who Holo is Lawrence agrees to accompany her to her home in the north. And so this is were our story begins.
