This series started out nicely, but I feel like it loses momentum mid-way thorugh.

this is just one of those anime's that makes me so damn angry, it was a wonderfully done anime with a great soundtrack, interesting designs, and great voice actors, yet because the manga hadnt finished i was forced to suffer from an original ending
just like Air Gear, Inuyasha, FMA, and im pretty sure they're gonna screw me over on Deadman wonderland... and so many more...
original endings "the worst kind of filler..."

DW is only 12 ep's long and they're already showing mockingbird in the op, azami isnt showing up, and half the background deadman arent even listed, not to mention that they're cutting important plot points like the earthquake.
still hoping they just reboot air gear, and stop with these annoying OVA's
Oh my god, the english dub of this show is ABHORANT.
I feel like the made up ending for Soul Eater gets a pass though, mostly because the animation studio knew they were going to run out of room and that the manga was still ongoing and had a lot of really cool stuff that would be coming out at the same time, so they said "fuck it, let's include every new spell or ability from the manga. It won't make any damn sense, but it'll look AMAZING!"
And it did. Honestly, if you can find Soul Eater on bluray and just turn the spoken language back to japanese, you should pick this show up, it's quite good. But I could not make it through the first episode in english, every nuanced joke, every pun, every allusion to japanese history was either taken out or butchered. It is the very large and obvious reason why fansubs still exist in this world of simulcasts and cheap box sets.
