The crew of the Aloha Oe look over their latest catch that is supposed to be a "Stiltonian," but looks strangely discolored. Meow sticks his hand in the cage and gets bitten by the alien, despite it supposedly being a friendly creature that doesn't bite anyone. Over the next few days, Meow begins turning sickly pale and moves very slowly. QT finally convinces Dandy to bring him to a hospital, where the doctor pronounces Meow as dead despite still being able to move.
Dandy tries to hit it off with one of the nurses, and give himself an excuse to stay at the hospital. Meanwhile, Commodore Perry informs Dr. Gel that the Gogol Empire has located Dandy at the same hospital, and even hired a team of alien mercenaries to make sure the job is finished. Later that night, Meow ends up biting one of the nurses.
The next day, Dandy returns to the hospital but QT notes that the hospital appears different with blood smeared on the walls and people being eaten in the middle of the hallway, but Dandy laughs it off until he notices several nurses and other sick aliens trying to eat him. At the same time, Dr Gel and his mercenary squad attack the hospital, but get slowly eaten by the zombie horde. Dandy tries to beat a path through the hospital to Meow, only to find that he's been zombie-fied as well, so he leaves him instead, using QT as a ram to break out of the hospital.
Strangely, the zombie virus infects QT as well. Dandy abandons her and makes it to the roof where a helicopter rescues him, but the pilot is also a zombie and bites him, turning Dandy into a zombie.
The next half of the episode chronicles Dandy and his crew's new life as zombies: learning to eat yogurt instead of red meat, cashing in on a life insurance policy by consistently proving that they are legally dead, having a strange urge to visit a shopping mall, being targeted by zombie hunters hired by life insurance companies losing money to this new wave of zombies, and finally being in a universe at peace, because everyone is a zombie now. Including the machines. Even the narrator at the end becomes a zombie.
