Alphonse Elric First confrontation: Episode Unknown

In the first anime, Kimblee first encounters Alphonse as he attempts to duel Martel. Later on, during his dying moment, he turns Alphonse into a slow-reacting chemical bomb, saying that he is doing so in order to give Alphonse "time to think about his death, and reflect on how meaningless his efforts have been." In the manga, Kimblee first meets Alphonse alongside his brother Edward at the headquarters in Briggs. There, Kimblee takes Winry Rockbell along as a hostage, to blackmail the Elric brothers into cooperating with the Amestrian government. Later on, as Alphonse captures Pride in a prison made of dirt, Kimblee comes to Pride's rescue, and Alphonse finds that he has to fight against both of them.

Darius was originally Kimblee's subordinate alongside Heinkel, assisting him in taking downEdward Elric. However, after Kimblee left him and Heinkel for dead during an explosive gambit to kill Edward Elric, he and Heinkel defected to Ed's side.

In the manga, Ed first encounters Kimblee at Fort Briggs, when he brings Winry over as blackmail for the Elric brothers to comply with the wishes of the army. They have a discussion which reveals Kimblee's life philosophy; that is, survival goes only to the strong, and the universe determines who is worthy of survival and who isn't.

Gerso was a chimera, formerly under the command of Kimblee. However, he later defected and joined sides with the Elric brothers, fighting back against the military.

Heinkel was originally Kimblee's subordinate alongside Darius, assisting him in taking downEdward Elric. However, after Kimblee left him and Heinkel for dead during an explosive gambit to kill Edward Elric, he and Darius defected to Ed's side. Heinkel was also able to inflict a fatal wound on Kimblee by biting him on the neck, leaving him open to absorption by Pride.

Martel First confrontation: Episode Unknown

In the first anime, Kimblee works alongside Greed and his chimera henchmen, with Martel among them. However, he ended up re-enlisting in the army, and leading them to the Devil's Nest. Martel, as the lone survivor, vows revenge on Kimblee. She later encounters Kimblee at the military headquarters, and is nearly killed by him, only to be finally killed by King Bradley.

Miles First confrontation: Episode Unknown

Miles first encountered Kimblee at the Northern Fortress of Briggs, when Kimblee had brought Winry to blackmail Kimblee. Miles did not trust him, and his dislike for Kimblee only worsened as Kimblee began to insult him and offered to recollect the death of the many Ishvalans he killed. Miles was the one in charge of the assassination attempt on Kimblee.

In both media, Kimblee is responsible for the slaughter of Scar's family. However, in the first anime, Kimblee only remembers giving scar his iconic marking, while in the manga Kimblee remembers the details of that day perfectly. In the first anime, Kimblee end up having a showdown in the town of Reole, where Kimblee remembers giving Scar his trademark scar. The two battle long and hard, and although Scar manages to deal Kimblee a fatal blow, Kimblee gets his own back by turning Alphonse into a slow-reacting chemical bomb. In the manga, Kimblee and Scar have their second meeting on a train heading away from East City, where Kimblee recalls Scar almost perfectly. The two battle, but Scar eventually stabs Kimblee with a metal pole, forcing Kimblee to escape. Later on, at Briggs, Scar "kidnaps" Winry, and comments on the reversal of their roles, with Scar looking down on Kimblee, causing Kimblee to fly into a rage.

Selim Bradley First confrontation: Episode Unknown

In the manga, Kimblee provides Pride with assistance when he is captured by Alphonse Elric and sealed within a prison made of soil. Together, the two faced off with Alphonse and the chimera Heinkel, when Kimblee is afflicted with a near-fatal wound. This leads to Pride absorbing Kimblee into his own consciousness. Later on, as Pride attempts to take over the body of Edward Elric, Kimblee re-emerges from within Pride's soul and calls him out on his hypocritical behavior, eventually helping Edward defeat Pride.

Tim Marcoh First confrontation: Episode Unknown

Tim Marcoh was the creator of the Philosopher's Stone that was entrusted into Kimblee's care. After Kimblee's release, Marcoh became Kimblee's target to retrieve and bring back to Father, and traveled alongside Scar. He never directly fought Kimblee, but opposed him indirectly by siding with the Elric brothers and assisting Scar.
