Sōjirō Kusaka

Appearance

Kusaka is a tall man with long black hair which is tied back in a bun at the back. He has violet eyes in his Academy days but now has red eyes. He also has a long scar through his right eye going down his cheek.

He wore the normal male Shinigami Academy uniform back when he was a student but now he wears a normal shinigami outfit with a large brown cloak worn over. He also wears a mask which is similar to a Hollow Mask.

Early Life

Kusaka was in the same class as Toshiro in the Shinigami Academy. They became good friends and rivals who would often compete in Academy work and in fights. They would also often train together in order to get stronger. He swore to become a great Shinigami and to always protect Soul Society.

He met his Zanpukto's spirit in a cave and soon found Toshiro their too with the same Spirit,They were both happy that they both had obtained the same Zanpakto and power. Which made them much closer friends.

Soon after Central 46 Members forbid that a same Zanpakto could be owned by two people due to an ancient Shinigami Rule. They forced Toshiro and Kusaka to fight for Hyonimaru. The fight was never supposed to be to the death but the first to draw the blade would lose, which Kusaka did. After a while of fighting Special forces appeared and restrained the two of them. Several of them stabbed Kusaka and one did the final blow by slashing at his head.

Kusaka died, questioning why he had to die, all he ever wanted was to protect soul society. All records of his existence was destroyed, and he was left to be forgotten.
