So, I can't play H!
So, I can't play H!

Welcome to the So, I Can't Play H! anime discussion. This anime is also known as Dakara Boku-ha, H ga Dekinai.

Here's a synopsis written by the wiki editors in Anime Vice.

Synopsis

Ryosuke is the main character who has lost his erotic spirit after making a contract with Risara, the Goddess of Death. Ryousuke cannot get aroused from watching girls due to his contract and struggles to gain back his erotic spirit from Risara.

Basically, this anime is all about ecchi and fan service. It's not for young children at all. There are scenes with nudity. So...don't upload them in this community because we don't get black list by Google. Besides, there are lots of images that our wiki editing team has uploaded for your convenience.

Please enjoy the discussion. If you have free time, the wiki editors here on this project (Daniel Newton, Sonata, Aarionf, and Dekken) welcome any help. Just don't plagiarized the wiki pages.

Thank you.

I believe Risara only exists to have her clothes blown off in every fight lol.

@Sonata:

I haven't seen the show, but I seen snapshots where the main perverted male lead gropes Risara. I seen some dirty GIFs along with Hagure Yusha no Estetica on the same blog.

I need to do a special blog on Ecchi Summer Anime 2012 or something. It's like soft-porn-palooza. Is there any more dirty ecchi anime in the summer? Does Muv Luv show some skin (more than skin)?

and Sonata

Plus, isn't ecchi mean really risque clothing but no nipples are shown? Wouldn't we call this anime, smut instead of ecchi?

...no. I don't know where you got that idea from.

Ecchi is a genre, is basically means erotic fantasy. An anime is considered "Ecchi" when it has sexual themes or undertones, here's a list of Ecchi anime. Ecchi shows range from things like Astarotte's Toy to Queen's Blade and Kiss x Sis. Look it up on Wikipedia if you like.

It's anime between innocent anime and full-on hentai. Smut on the other hand is just another word for porn, generally used in a more negative way than the word porn or pornography.

@Daniel_Newton:

Wow, thanks Daniel. I didn't understand Wikipedia's definition until you clear it up for me.

@takashichea: Actually Muv Luv has been kinda tame which is surprsing to me. It does have a a few shower scenes, and girlswearing tight clothing.  But nothing anywhere near close to So, I can't Play H as of yet.

Sorry guys for derailing this thread. I finally tried the first episode. The main character Ryosuke is a perverted blathermouth. Yet, his friend Mina remarks he is kind, and she does not care about him thinking out loud about her breasts.

Risara showers like she is having sex. Her expressions are weird.

Edit:

@Sonata:

I see what you mean about Risara's clothing.

Episode 2

Best Quote from Ryosuke: Just as the car runs on gasoline, Lisara runs on my libido!

Okay, Ryosuke reminds me of Furuichi Takayuki of Beelzebub. Both are very perverted and creepy. Ryosuke was talking about breathing the oxygen in the girls' locker room.
