Kyoko Mogami is devoted to her boyfriend and even moves to Tokyo to help support his music career…but then he callously dumps her, and she decides to become an even bigger star than he is to get her revenge.
Kyoko Mogami spent most of her childhood working at her boyfriend Shoutaro's family ryokan, where she learned the art of being a good hostess, due to being in love with Shoutaro. So great is that love that when he rejects his family's desire to have him take over the ryokan in favor of going to Tokyo to become a rock star, she follows him-- and cooks, cleans, and even works to pay his rent. Rather than appreciate his efforts, however, Shoutaro flirts with other women and Kyoko finally overhears him talking about what a nuisance she is.
Kyoko is furious and decides that she wants revenge on Shutaro, eventually settling on the idea of becoming a greater celebrity than he is. She finagles her way into a talent agency on sheer determination…but they assign her to a branch created just for her: the "Love-Me" branch. Her audition apparently led the agency's President to think that she lacked the desire to be loved, which may be the only thing preventing her from becoming a fantastic actress. So, she joins the branch and does whatever odd jobs they assign...but it isn't long before she starts getting some juicy roles. Including one in Shoutaro's own music video...
